Cambridge Energy Partners

Position: Contractor

Cambridge Energy Partners (CEP), a solar energy company, provides patented designed panels, efficient solutions, and implementation through trusted partners to remote mines. Maximising sustainability goals and delivering low cost with short-term power contracts to its customers, I was able to provide work for them over the past two years. Tasks ranged: global market research, process and statistical analysis, and installation of a 150kWh solar unit project in combination with on-/off-site monitoring & technical support.

February 2012 – January 2014:

Auscript Australasia Pty Ltd; Court Record Solutions; For The Record (FTR)

Auscript developed the in-house specialised product solutions business (unit) to provide internal and external solutions for court stakeholders. Originally commencing my role within Auscript, there was an opportunity for a technician to branch into the in-house business; I was this selected technician. In 2013, Auscript acquired For The Record in order to further develop its services with the already establish company. This is how my

Auscript
- Position: Full Time Customer Support, AV/IT Technician and Documentation Officer
- Working in an industry where time and costs are the most essential commodities, being able to provide high-quality transcripts on time was the crux of this job. This meant the infrastructure behind the product and the customer’s understanding of the product needed to be comprehensively covered,
  - Real-time court transcription infrastructure implementation, monitoring, and training.
  - Legalwise CPD seminars (installing and configuring technology for recording seminars, edited footage where applicable, and distributed material to clients),
  - Physical computer building.

Court Record Solutions
- Position: Customer Support and Documentation Officer
- Court Record Solutions (CRS) was a Software Development company that supplied solutions to the digital court transcription market in Australia and the United States. CRS was the sister company and technology partner to Auscript, supplying products and support to Auscript and their clients. In my roles as customer support and documentation officer, I provided support for numerous products and services both internal and external to the company.

- For The Record (FTR), a technical software development company, provides solutions for the digital court market. They were purchased by Record Holdings in September 2013. My involvement included:
  - migrating support information across for previous CRS employees (see below) to continue & advance their work, and
  - preparing the support-based system for new employees.
- Award: 2013, ‘For The Record’ Excellence Award for Outstanding Performance.
  - Votes placed by entire Australia-wide company for the employee that showed ability to perform under stressful situations, wide knowledge-base of products, and was a positive and enthusiastic member of the team.
