Similar to writing a journal, there are two simultaneous realities: intention and practice. My intentions for this blog/journal are soft, but carry with them the aims of positive habit building, enforced documentation, and improvement in considered communication (both language and discourse). In practice, this may become a different type of output.
Full disclosure: this blog is a way for me to track my professional thoughts in a “physical” way, so they’re not meta-abstractly floating around in my head, and to provide potential clients and employers a format in the way I think about learning, implementing revisited & newly learned processes/practices, and discover & highlight new goals. It will be interwoven with my past domain-specific experience and knowledge; perspectives that will no doubt be updated and refined over time.
Many conversations I’ve had with people over the years, I often heard them say at some point that they regretted not doing something. I took it upon myself many years ago to challenge my own idea of ‘regret’ – sadness, repentantment, or disappointment – and, instead, turn these regrets into lessons. Look back over the past and turn these lessons into experiences that I can draw upon and work towards a positive outcome for all parties involved, see: Walrasian equilibrium, assuming all exchange commodities can be mapped to intrinsic values. So, instead of regretting not starting a blog earlier, I am learning from my past experiences and intend to map this out as best as I can.

Intentions
- Writing intent: improvement in communication,
- Entry intent: weekly, but this will vary over time based on various factors that may have an influence,
- Entry type: varying between summative and documentation-stylised reminders for myself, and
- Creativity: practice, or visualise, new concepts as they present themselves through my research.
